Secure sign-in with a one-time SMS code

SIPDesk 2.2.0 asks for a one-time 6-digit code each time the app starts. The code is sent by SMS from your office's own Neuereatec GSM Gateway 1.2.0 phone.

How the code works

1. A new code every app start

   When SIPDesk opens, it asks for a fresh 6-digit code and the gateway texts it to your registered mobile number.

2. Valid for 5 minutes, single use

   Each code expires after 5 minutes and works only once.

3. Auto-filled or typed

   SIPDesk fills the code in from the SMS automatically, or you can type it in yourself.

Office setup (one time)

1. Add each user's mobile number

   The office admin enters each staff member's mobile number on the OTP admin page.

2. Set the gateway phone as SMS sender

   In the GSM Gateway app, scan the OTP SMS sender QR code and tap Allow when it asks to send SMS.

3. Done

   Staff open SIPDesk, receive their code by SMS and sign in.
